Start gathering supplies 2-3 weeks before your move. Create an inventory list and order supplies in advance to avoid last-minute stress.
Pack heavy items in small boxes and light items in large boxes. Fill empty spaces with packing material to prevent shifting during transport.
Label boxes clearly with contents and destination room. Use different colored tape or labels for different rooms to make unpacking easier.
